Well.

Cyprus, meet PCR.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeee

And it was a long 24 hours of traveling from American University to Dulles Airport to Heathrow Airport (London) to Larnaca (Cyprus), and finally by bus to Nicosia (the capital). We were delayed two hours coming out of Washington thanks to bad weather and actually missed our London-Cyprus flight. But fortunately, somehow all 27 of us got onto another flight later in the afternoon.

Therefore, we made it here safely, albeit in the pitch black darkness. We have yet to see the Mediterranean, but we are on an island. It'll happen. We just got back from a midnight dinner, and I'm having major flashbacks to Spain. In fact, I realized I was leaving for Europe exactly three months after leaving Spain. Crazy... Oy, I'm going to be the annoying kid in class who won't shut up about studying abroad. And by "going to be," I mean "I already am."

It's 2:30 am. I'm exhausted. And excited to be here. Tomorrow's the Greek independence day, which will be thoroughly celebrated here, but it means the beginning of lots of work for our class. This will be no vacation, but it's gonna be pretty amazing, I can tell.
