The end of the London photos

Almost a month later...
The Tower Bridge, right near our second hotel

Dad and I did a Beatles walking tour on Boxing Day. One of our stops was
the Palladium Theatre, where Beatlemania apparently began.

I'm so impressed with this kid - it was so cold in London!

I finally made it to Abbey Road! In trying not to get hit by the angry drivers
fed up with the constant tourist presence, I messed up the pose. Ah well.

Look at the Boxing Day shopping insanity...

The London Eye

We took a day trip to Cambridge, which was beautiful
and reminded me so much of Harry Potter. Nerd moments.

Tourists!

I really like the fog creeping in on our visit to the Tower of
London - so appropriate.

One of the Beefeater guards inside the Tower of London.
One of the funniest tour guides I've ever had.

I found Lucius Malfoy! (That's another Harry Potter reference...)

The funniest street performer I've ever seen - in Covent
Garden. Yes, he is wearing practically no clothes in
freezing weather and is preparing to juggle a chainsaw.
Essentially, London was fantastic. I mean, really, when they have those accents, it's impossible for me not to be happy. We saw a West End play (Ghost Stories), watched a few soccer games in pubs, saw the sights, and just had a really fun week. And we managed to make it out of London Heathrow, despite all the pre-Christmas chaos.

So, that's London, the very abridged version. As for Washington, my internship search is going really well so far. And I'm still busy!  So, hasta luego.
