Everyone! Tell me what I need to do while I'm in DC, please. Obviously, we're trying to visit the Smithsonian museums, the monuments, and all that other predictable stuff, but I want to hear from you all about cool/unique places, restaurants, or events to go to. Please? We're trying to make the most of being in Washington. (I've already gone through the calendars for a few venues and noted all of the concerts that I want to see. Predictable on my part, I know...)
Also, I thought I'd share this video, which you've probably seen 10 million times, but really, it's just so darn cute and the perfect antidote to whatever depressing material we may have learned about in Peace and Conflict Resolution.
In case you haven't heard the original (don't know how it's possible - it was a staple of my sophomore year), it's also a great mood lifter, perfect after a discussion about the Lord's Resistance Army in Africa.
