My emotional state:

Confused.

You see, there's a lot going on right now, so I don't quite know what to think. Summed up as such:

• Good - I've already taken three of my finals, and those have gone fairly well (I assume...)
• Bad - My last final is tomorrow, and I have no idea how it will turn out. Studying has been difficult because the class itself was kind of terrible and also:
• ? - We leave this week! And I'm trying to take advantage of my last days in Salamanca and my last opportunities to see all the friends that I've made here. Therefore, I'm trying to live in the present and just appreciate everything for how it is right now - which is wonderful. But we have our farewell party tomorrow, and I won't be surprised if there are tears shed. These last few months have gone by so quickly.
• Blah - I have to pack. Despite the fact that Basa cleans my room (she even organizes my desk!), this is going to be a challenge.
• Bad - I'm going to miss Spain. I already know. Life is just different here, and I definitely feel like I've adjusted to it. And now I have to leave. 
• Good - At the same time, I am happy to get home because there are definitely things that I miss about it (most importantly, everyone there). And I don't think that re-adapting to the US is going to be that difficult. Moreover, I think I'll appreciate a lot of things that I took for granted in California (but more about that another time).
• Bad - However, I won't be getting back home until December 30, which is still more than two weeks away, and it is a little sad to hear everyone talking about their Christmas plans with their families... 
• Good - But... I don't really have any reason to complain: Dad and I are traveling for two weeks - going to southern Spain, Morroco (!!!), and London, and I'm really excited for that. (And he gets to Salamanca on Thursday - so soon!)

Therefore, I'm just really trying to live in the present. And that present is telling me that I need to sleep before my 9am exam. 

But first: Feliz Navidad!
